Vice Chair, Anatomic Pathology

About the role

We are seeking a Vice Chair of Anatomic Pathology to provide strategic leadership within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Anatomic Pathology division and oversee diagnostic services across surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy sections
• Partner with medical specialties to improve patient care and diagnostic outcomes
• Drive pathology outreach initiatives and department growth
• Mentor faculty, support research and grant development, and foster academic and professional development
• Participate in medical student education and curriculum development

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD with board certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or combined AP/CP
• Experience in diagnostic leadership, academic medicine, and collaborative team environments
