Vice Chair and Director, Clinical Pathology
Responsibilities
Achieving diagnostic excellence; demonstrating exceptional leadership and communication skills; and maintaining a national reputation as an academic leader in Clinical Pathology.
Requirements
Candidates must hold MD or MD/PhD degrees, be board-certified in CP or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology, and be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Illinois. Fellowship training or other significant experience in Clinical Pathology is required.
Qualifications
The role includes working with the Educational and Research leaders of the Department to oversee the training, mentoring, research, and education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Clinical Pathology. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and background in translational research.

Pay
The expected base pay range for this position is $325,000 - $378,000 dependent on rank, years of experience, leadership roles, and other academic factors.
