Vice Chair, Anatomic Pathology

Role: Lead the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine as Vice Chair of Anatomic Pathology, providing strategic oversight and leadership across diagnostic sections. Responsibilities Supervise diagnostic services in surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy pathology sections.Collaborate with medical specialties to enhance patient care and diagnostic outcomes.Guide pathology outreach initiatives and departmental growth opportunities.Support and develop residency and fellowship training programs.Mentor faculty, fostering academic and professional growth.Encourage faculty research in translational and clinical areas with grant support.Participate in medical student education and curriculum development. Qualifications & Skills MD or MD/PhD with board certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or combined AP/CP.Experience in leadership roles within pathology departments preferred.Strong collaborative, strategic planning, and mentorship skills.
