Our 42,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is designed for comprehensive veterinary care, featuring:

  • Multiple treatment wards and 20+ exam rooms

  • Advanced operating rooms
  • Veterinary compounding pharmacy, orthopedic and joint replacement surgeries, neurosurgery suite, and oncology center
  • Referral services across specialties including Acupuncture, Anesthesia, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Social Work, and Surgery

Responsibilities

As an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, you'll support inpatient and outpatient care while working with patients across multiple departments.

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse range of hospitalized patients
  • Support Internal Medicine and specialty medicine patient care
  • Collect samples and assist with diagnostic testing
  • Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
  • Calculate drug dosages and administer medications, including IV medications
  • Perform patient assessments, take vital signs, and closely monitor changes in patient condition
  • Gather accurate patient and medical histories
  • Communicate patient updates and care information to pet owners with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate with Veterinary Technicians, veterinarians, specialists, and hospital team members to provide high-quality care
  • Continue developing Vet Tech skills through hands-on experience, training, and mentorship

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Technician experience or education; candidates newer to the veterinary field are welcome to apply
  • Credentialing is not required
  • Dedicated to patient care and eager to learn
  • Experience or developing skills in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, drug calculations, medication administration, and taking vital signs
  • Friendly, compassionate, dependable, and committed to maintaining a positive and respectful animal hospital culture
  • Proactive and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced specialty medicine environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Interest in continuing to grow your technical and Internal Medicine skills
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Compensation

  • $28–$40/hour based on skills assessment and leveling
  • VTS: $35–$45/hour

Schedule

  • Full-Time, 4 days per week
  • Daytime hours
  • Combination of 7:00am–4:00pm, 9:00am–6:00pm, and 10:00am–7:00pm shifts
  • One weekend shift included
