Veterinary Surgeon- Surgical Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a Surgical Oncologist to join our team as we develop a comprehensive specialty hospital alongside the established 11-year referral base of Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Pet Hospital partner practice. In this role, you will focus on surgical oncology and advanced soft tissue procedures, working closely with Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Focus on surgical oncology and advanced soft tissue procedures
• Work closely with Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered cancer care
• Contribute to complex case management and advance techniques in oncologic and minimally invasive surgery within a highly collaborative setting
• Play a central role in shaping the surgical oncology service

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible surgeons
• A strong clinical focus in surgical oncology

Qualifications

• Experience in surgical oncology and advanced soft tissue procedures
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for multidisciplinary cancer care
• Ability to work collaboratively with Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care teams

Pay

The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays.
