Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional surgical care using the latest tools and technology, including digital radiography, endoscopy, laparascopy, surgical and therapeutic lasers, in-house labs, and ultrasound.
• Collaborate with primary care veterinarians and other hospital departments to ensure seamless care for patients.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with clients and their pets, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
• Ensure compliance with the veterinary code of ethics and maintain a commitment to high standards of medicine.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in veterinary oncology.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
• Board certification in Oncology or residency trained.
• Licensure must be in good standing to practice in the state of New York.
• The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and maintaining a cooperative relationship with clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary oncology is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
