Veterinary Oncologist

About the role

This is an incredible opportunity to build a specialty service within a thriving, collaborative, and well-supported network across the greater Pittsburgh market. You'll have the unique ability to shape a new service offering while stepping into a market with a strong, existing oncology caseload and a robust referral base.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology care for a variety of species
• Collaborate with other specialists and house officers to ensure multidisciplinary patient care
• Participate in the development and implementation of the new oncology service
• Contribute to the educational mission of the hospital through teaching and mentoring

Requirements

• Current AVMA accreditation
• Board certification in veterinary oncology
• Experience in a clinical setting

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about veterinary medicine and oncology
