Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Surgeon to join the Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team. Founded in 2005, VOSM is a leading provider of orthopedic and sports medicine services in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., metro area. The group offers a range of services including 1.5 Tesla MRI, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, and a dedicated neurology center.
- Equipped with extensive orthopedic instrumentation, total hip replacement program, and multiple arthroscopic towers.
- Features onsite 1.5 Tesla MRI, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, digital radiology suites, and a dedicated neurology center.
- Sports medicine and rehab departments emphasize regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, conditioning, and hydrotherapy.
- Certified canine rehab practitioners skilled in orthopedic rehab modalities and therapies.
- Offers research, teaching, and clinical trial opportunities, including lectures and workshops on orthopedics and sports medicine.
- Engages in training programs like externships, surgical internships, ACVSMR residencies, and fellowships.

VOSM is part of a network of 400 clinics across the country, fostering a community of veterinary professionals and resources. The Board of Directors provides networking, community, and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required. State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date. Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible. Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
