About the role
Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the South Atlanta Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center's team. Located in the town of Fayetteville, Georgia, this 24/7 ER center serves the Southern Atlanta community with robust referral relationships and cutting-edge facilities.
Responsibilities
- Care for a variety of pets in a fast-paced environment
- Perform surgeries and other advanced medical procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing
- Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
- Board Certification in Veterinary Surgery or completion of a residency program
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and experience in emergency and critical care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
