About the role

The Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a surgeon to join their team. Ideal candidates are either board-certified veterinary surgeons or veterinarians completing residency training towards board certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration
• Utilize state-of-the-art facilities including a surgical suite with three advanced ORs, CT scanner, endoscopy, laparoscopy tower, and diagnostic ultrasound
• Work alongside a highly skilled support staff, including technicians with ALS and BLS certifications

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of residency training towards board certification
• Experience in veterinary surgery
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Kansas
• Recover CPR certification in ALS and BLS

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
