About the role
We are seeking a full-time board-certified or residency trained veterinarian to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Bellevue, Seattle.
Responsibilities
- Provide referral and emergency services to much of the Bellevue/Seattle area
- Collaborate with specialists including surgeons, internists, medical oncologists, cardiologists, radiologists, and a clinical pathologist
- Manage a busy and varied soft tissue and orthopedic caseload
- Participate in daily case rounds and continuing education offerings
- Engage in additional training opportunities to foster a collaborative learning culture
Requirements
- Board certification or completion of a residency program
- Experience in emergency and specialty veterinary medicine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current licensure in Washington State
- Knowledge of and experience with in-house diagnostic laboratory, digital radiography, advanced CT imaging, ultrasound, and endoscopy services
