Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer phones while managing a busy multi-doctor appointment schedule
- Schedule appointments efficiently and help maintain smooth daily operations
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Educate clients about preventive care, hospital services, and recommended next steps
- Process invoices, collect payments, and review treatment estimates
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members
- Help create a positive experience for every client who walks through our doors
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience preferred
- Confidence handling high call volume and competing priorities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Compassion and professionalism, especially during emotional situations
- The ability to explain hospital policies, services, and recommendations clearly
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive attitude and collaborative mindset
- The ability to prioritize urgent scheduling needs appropriately
- A genuine passion for helping people and their pets
Pay & Schedule
- Status: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday – Friday with some Saturday morning shifts
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
