What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, route calls, and respond to voicemails promptly
- Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar efficiently
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
- Process payments and handle invoices
- Clearly communicate hospital policies, services, and pricing
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
- Stock supplies and communicate inventory needs
- Perform general cleaning duties, including disinfecting surfaces, laundry, and end-of-day tasks
What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
