Health and Wellness Animal Hospital in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As one of the first points of contact, you’ll create a welcoming experience for pets and their families while keeping our hospital running smoothly.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in client communication, from answering phones and scheduling appointments to assisting with check-ins and payments. This position offers the chance to work closely with veterinarians, support staff, and pet owners in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Serve as the first point of contact for the hospital
- Answer incoming phone calls and manage multiple phone lines
- Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments
- Respond to client questions and provide accurate information
- Check patients and clients in and out for appointments
- Process invoices and collect payments
- Maintain accurate client and patient records
- Update records and document client communications
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff
- Help coordinate information between clients and the medical team
- Assist clients with questions about appointments, services, and hospital procedures
- Provide compassionate customer service during routine and stressful situations
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
- Use hospital computer systems and veterinary software
- Support efficient front-desk workflow during busy periods
- Assist with general administrative responsibilities as needed
- Help create an exceptional experience for every client and pet
Requirements

- Previous veterinary hospital experience (a plus)

Schedule
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Wednesdays: 10:00 am – 4:00/6:00 pm
- Fridays: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
