Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative
Malaherd Veterinary Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, and support our team in delivering quality care.
Responsibilities
- Manage appointments and daily patient flow
- Handle multi-line phones and in-person client interactions
- Process transactions and maintain financial records
- Provide clients with essential information about our services
- Deliver compassionate, professional service during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth, low-stress environment for clients and pets
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or reception
- Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
- Proficiency in managing a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
- Ability to accurately process payments
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-focused environment
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods

Pay
$14–$19 per hour
Schedule
Flexible full-time position with a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule. Availability needed Monday through Friday.
