Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative
Allegheny Veterinary Associates is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
About the role
In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services.
Allegheny Veterinary Associates is a 3-doctor small animal practice in Pittsburgh, PA, offering a well-rounded caseload that most GPs can't match — wellness and preventive medicine alongside advanced orthopedic surgery (including TPLOs), soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. You'll work alongside a highly respected orthopedic surgeon and a client-focused Medical Director in a fun, no-drama team culture that communicates directly, supports each other, and genuinely enjoys coming to work. No weekends, no on-call, and a built-in early day each week — it's a predictable schedule that respects your time outside of work.
Pittsburgh itself is one of the most underrated cities in the country — distinct neighborhoods, a thriving food and arts scene, easy access to trails and outdoor spaces, and a cost of living that lets you actually enjoy it all.
