About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, Texas is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join their thriving multidisciplinary specialty and emergency hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Practice advanced medicine within a collaborative environment
  • Join an established specialty team within a hospital supported by a strong referral network and a robust caseload
  • Specialty Services Include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Dermatology, Neurology, Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care
  • Equipped with advanced technology and diagnostics including: Comprehensive in-house laboratory services, Ultrasound, CT imaging, MRI
  • Contribute to the development of rotating interns and help support future veterinary specialists

Requirements

  • Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Oncology
  • Experience in advanced oncology care
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas
  • Passing score on the AVMA accreditation exam

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of oncology treatments and procedures
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
