About the role
The clinician team is comprised of specialists trained in surgery, critical care, internal medicine, neurology, dermatology, dentistry, and cardiology. Rehabilitation therapists are an extension of our clinician team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cancer care for pets.
- Participate in clinical research opportunities through BluePearl Science.
- Engage in professional growth through CE stipend and access to learning platforms like VetGirl and VetFolio.
- Lead and mentor within the BluePearl community.
- Access to mental health resources including LYRA and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Requirements
- Board-eligible or board-certified in veterinary oncology.
- Experience in treating a variety of cancers in companion animals.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for veterinary oncology.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Nevada.
Skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
