Veterinary Oncologist

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a full-time, board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join their collaborative, multi-specialty team in a thriving, state-of-the-art hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent emergency cases and support long-term patient recovery through rehabilitation services
• Provide advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities including 64-slice CT scanner, interventional radiology, and advanced rehabilitation services
• Collaborate with a close-knit and collegial team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and client service
• Offer minimally invasive treatment options for conditions such as bladder stones and other complex medical conditions

Requirements

• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Oncology
• Experience in advanced emergency, specialty, and rehabilitation care
• Ability to manage high demand for Oncology services within a growing regional market

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Kentucky
• Experience with state-of-the-art medical technology and treatment capabilities
