The Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Oncologist to join our dynamic team at Animal Clinic Northview. This position will play a crucial role in expanding and elevating our oncology services.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered cancer care
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Administer chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and palliative care
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients and primary care veterinarians
  • Manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining high standards of medical care
  • Participate in a multi-doctor, multidisciplinary environment

Requirements

  • Residency-trained or board-certified in medical oncology
  • Committed to supporting patients and families throughout the cancer journey
  • Experienced or enthusiastic about administering various cancer treatments
  • Skilled in developing personalized treatment plans
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Ohio
  • Experience with oncology procedures and treatments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

About the Clinic

Founded in 1977, Animal Clinic Northview is a full-service veterinary and emergency hospital in the greater Cleveland area. With a 34-doctor, 175-staff team, we are AAHA-accredited and offer state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment capabilities, including digital radiography, digital ultrasonography, CT with full 3-D reconstruction, endoscopy, laparoscopy, a dedicated surgical suite, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and a full rehabilitation center featuring an underwater treadmill and therapy pool. Our 24-hour ICU provides continuous monitoring and support for complex cases. We are located along the beautiful shores of Lake Erie, offering exceptional cultural, culinary, and recreational opportunities.
