About the role
The Veterinary Nurse Assistant/Client Care Coordinator position is a unique opportunity for someone in their veterinary career to work across all areas of the hospital. You will be the ultimate team player, helping all team members and clients, jumping in to assist with patients whenever needed, learning all aspects of Truss Vet's model, and floating to different positions throughout the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care, including but not limited to administering medications, collecting samples, and assisting with procedures under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
- Provide excellent client care, including greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Support the daily operations of the clinic, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Learn and adapt to various roles within the clinic as needed, including assisting with administrative tasks and support functions.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a veterinary setting preferred, but not required.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, timely, organized, productive, and analytical personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of veterinary medicine and animal care.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
