About the role
Serve as a first point of contact for clients in person and over the phone.
Respond to client communications with compassion and professionalism.
Schedule appointments and help manage the hospital calendar.
Request medical records and coordinate referrals with other hospitals.
Manage client accounts and accurately document communications.
Prepare estimates and discuss financial commitments with clients.
Build rapport and long-term relationships with clients and pets.
Assist in animal examinations and treatments.
Monitor and comfort patients before and after procedures.
Prepare and clean exam rooms, equipment, and surgical tools.
Administer medications and collect lab samples as directed.
Education clients on pet care, nutrition, and preventive medicine.
Maintain accurate patient records.

Excellent administrative, phone, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong computer skills and comfort navigating software platforms.
Ability to discuss financial arrangements professionally.
Compassionate communication skills, especially with worried or emotional clients.
Ability to balance client needs with medical team workflow.
Patience, calmness, and professionalism while maintaining boundaries.
Experience in an animal or human medical setting preferred.
Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

Pay
From $20.00 per hour.
Schedule
4-day work week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; closed Saturdays.
