Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists' team. Located in Decatur, Georgia, this position offers a supportive environment with AAHA accreditation, multi-specialty services, and advanced equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to patients
  • Collaborate with other specialists and ER doctors
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as Ultrasound, CT, and endoscopy
  • Participate in continuing education and clinical research

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing
  • Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
  • Board Certification in Veterinary Internal Medicine or residency trained

Qualifications

Experience in internal medicine is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to excellence.
