About the role
Town & Country Animal Clinic is seeking an Internist to join our team in Brookings, Oregon. We are an expanding practice on the beautiful southern Oregon Coast with access to the beach, redwoods, and wild coastal rivers. Hiking, surfing, fishing, and outdoor activities are among the attractions within our small community.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to a variety of animal species
- Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatments
- Conduct diagnostic tests using in-house laboratory equipment and imaging technologies
- Participate in surgical procedures using CO2 laser, therapy laser, and other advanced equipment
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with clients to educate and support them in managing their pets' health
- Continuously learn and improve clinical skills through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a DVM program
- Strong academic performance and relevant coursework
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passionate about animal welfare and client care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Completed all required coursework for graduation
- Passed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
- Experience with veterinary medicine preferred but not required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
