Job Summary
Southern Rockies Animal Emergency and Specialty in Colorado Springs is seeking a full-time boarded or residency trained Internist to join their team. Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty is an AAHA-accredited Specialty and 24-hour Emergency practice.
About the Role
Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty is anchored by skilled Emergency doctors in addition to specialists in Cardiology, Radiology, and Rehabilitation. They are licensed for Radiation therapies and offer a collaborative team approach with access to advanced diagnostic and treatment options.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a skilled team of Emergency doctors and specialists
- Access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment including mechanical ventilators, CT/MRI, ultrasounds, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and C-arm
- Hospital offers a robust internal medicine caseload
- Work in a supportive environment with a focus on community and family
- Located in the scenic Colorado Springs area with easy access to outdoor activities and amenities
Requirements
- Boarded or residency trained in Internal Medicine
- Experience in a 24-hour Emergency and/or Specialty setting preferred
- Colorado license or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
The hospital offers a competitive salary range of $185,000 - $225,000 plus production based on experience. Other benefits include:
