Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist

About the role

The Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) is seeking a second Internist to join their thriving multi-specialty practice in southeastern Wisconsin. The new internist will work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and will be part of a supportive team offering a wide range of services.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose complex cases using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Treatment of internal medicine conditions in dogs and cats
• Collaborate with other specialists within the practice
• Participate in ongoing professional development through training programs

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin
• Recent experience in internal medicine
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution
• Completion of an ACVIM approved residency program in Internal Medicine
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic imaging techniques
• Effective teamwork and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently
