Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist
Salary range: $200,000 – $225,000, greater of base or production, depending on experience

- A busy and diverse caseload—AESC sees over 33,000 emergency and specialty patients annually
- Established Internal Medicine caseload with a strong referral network
- Daily multispecialty rounds
- Three board-certified radiologists providing advanced imaging support
- Board-certified anesthesia support for procedures ranging from routine sedation to complex, unstable patients
- Overnight and weekend hospitalized patients are managed by experienced ER clinicians, allowing true time away from work
- After-hours endoscopy can be arranged but is not an expectation
Location
Located just south of Denver, Parker offers easy access to city amenities but with a quieter community feel. The Rocky Mountains are a short drive away. It's an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and scenic mountain escapes.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse internal medicine caseload
- Perform endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and other advanced diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with specialty and emergency teams on shared patients and transfer cases
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration and continuous learning
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado state veterinary licensure
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Residency Trained in Internal Medicine
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach
