About the role
Lathrop Veterinary Center is the first veterinary hospital in the city of Lathrop, California. We are a welcoming, state-of-the-art small animal practice, led by UC Davis Alumna, Dr. Cathy Wallace. At Lathrop Veterinary Center, we combine advanced medicine with genuine compassion and have been serving Lathrop and surrounding communities since 2008 from our modern, up-to-date facility with the latest equipment and resources.Responsibilities
Students will work closely with Dr. Wallace and staff to gain experience in:- Gathering patient histories
- Performing physical exams
- Creating treatment plans
- Diagnostics
- Dentistry services
- Observing/assisting or performing surgical procedures
- Medical management of patients
Qualifications
Students must be enrolled in a veterinary school and in the clinical portion of their education. They are required to have completed prerequisite coursework and passed the required licensing exams.Skills
