Veterinary Extern - General Practice

About the role

An externship experience at Merrimack Veterinary Hospital will provide students with a unique understanding of the day-to-day operations and hands-on clinical experience within an NVA hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through sick and wellness appointments
• Absorb the supportive and committed environment focused on excellent medicine and exceptional service
• Assist with surgical procedures
• Develop basic proficiency with dental radiography

Qualifications

• Veterinary students (all class years)
• Eligible for a travel/living expense stipend if in the clinical portion of their education
