Veterinary Extern - General Practice
About the role
Woodburn Veterinary Clinic is a progressive small animal hospital with a sister clinic nearby for additional mentoring and experience. Both clinics are centrally located near the beach in central Oregon, offering proximity to various outdoor activities.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience in gathering patient histories
- Perform physical exams
- Create treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage medical conditions
- Assist with dental services
- Observe and assist with surgical procedures
- Communicate effectively with the medical team, support staff, and clients
Requirements

Qualifications
Students must be enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year veterinary program.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for veterinary medicine.
