About the role
Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital is eagerly accepting externship applications for 2026!
Responsibilities
- Work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians
- Gather patient histories
- Perform physical exams
- Create treatment plans
- Perform diagnostics
- Provide dental services
- Assist or perform surgical procedures
- Manage medical care for patients
- Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients
Qualifications
Open to veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education.
Benefits
Veterinary students who are in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend of $1,000.
Pay
The stipend amount for Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital is $1,000.
Schedule
Most externships at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital experience ranges from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules.
