About the role

The Veterinary Care Navigator serves as the primary point of contact for referring veterinarians, clients, and specialty services, ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient scheduling of referred patients into the hospital. Will triage cases and make determinations of referral placement for each patient. The Veterinary Care Navigator is responsible for facilitating positive relationships with referring partners, supporting hospital services, and providing exceptional customer service to both veterinary professionals and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for referring veterinarians, clients, and specialty services
  • Ensures smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient scheduling of referred patients
  • Triage cases and make determinations of referral placement for each patient
  • Facilitate positive relationships with referring partners
  • Support hospital services
  • Provide exceptional customer service to veterinary professionals and clients

Requirements

  • Associate's Veterinary Technology or medical field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • 3 years working as a veterinary technician or medical professional
  • Prior experience in a veterinary hospital, referral practice, or medical scheduling/coordination
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and specialty services

Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
