Position Highlights
Position: Veterinary Assistant (Full-Time)
Schedule: 4-day work week, includes day, evening, and rotating Saturday shifts (one every 3-4 weeks)
Wage: $15 - $18 per hour depending on experience
Software: Avimark – experience preferred but not required
Clinic Hours: Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (expanding to 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM in January), Tuesday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Sunday: Closed
What We’re Looking For
A compassionate, skilled, and reliable Veterinary Assistant
Experience with Avimark software
Fear-Free Certification (or interest in pursuing)
Bonus Points
If you have experience with Avimark software
If you have Fear-Free Certification (or interest in pursuing)
What You'll Bring To The Team
A High School Diploma or equivalent
A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment with composure
Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset
