About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Oak Creek, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join their collaborative and growing specialty team.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced specialty care, including internal medicine consultations and treatments
• Contribute to the diagnostic process through specialized tests and procedures
• Collaborate with other specialists and emergency clinicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in case rounds and seminars to stay updated on the latest veterinary medicine
• Support the hospital's mission of providing exceptional patient care and client service

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in Veterinary Internal Medicine
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin
• Experience in treating complex medical cases
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
• Passing scores on relevant board exams
