Responsibilities
- Provide advanced veterinary oncology care to patients in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Contribute to the growth and expansion of the Oncology department
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians and the local community
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Board certification or completion of a recognized residency program in veterinary oncology
- Experience in treating a variety of cancer cases
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Florida veterinary license
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in veterinary practice
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Skills
- Proficiency in oncology diagnostics and treatments
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload
