Veterinarian - Internist

About the role

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Louisville, KY is seeking a full-time, board certified or residency-trained Internal Medicine specialist to join their state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal medicine service with highly qualified and dedicated technicians
• Work in a 24-hour emergency medicine, acupuncture, and integrative medicine department
• Conduct diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, rehabilitation, arthroscopy, and surgery
• Collaborate with multiple specialties within a single facility
• Participate in fun team-building activities
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including a 64-slice CT, laparoscopic equipment, water treadmill, therapy laser, fluoroscopy, endoscopic equipment, digital radiography, and Snyder O2 cages
• Work in a 12,500-square-foot facility with a 24-hour ICU and isolation area

Requirements

• Board Certified or Residency Trained in Internal Medicine
• Experience in emergency and specialty care
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Kentucky
• Passing score on the AVMA accredited Veterinarian Licensing Examination

Up to $100,000 sign-on bonus available
