About the role
BluePearl Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Conshohocken, PA, is seeking a full-time boarded Veterinarian - Criticalist or an individual residency-trained in emergency and critical care to join our large and talented team!
Responsibilities
- Expand our current critical care department due to the high caseload, growth of service and new hospital locations.
- Work alongside highly qualified, experienced and dedicated technicians in addition to a robust training program to allow for technician professional development.
- Utilize state-of-the-art facilities including a Toshiba 64-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy C-arm, laparoscopic, thorascopic and arthroscopic towers at the Conshohocken location, and MRI, I-131 and radiation therapy at the Levittown hospital.
- Collaborate with specialists, ER doctors, residents and interns to deliver the highest level of care and compassion to clients and patients.
- Focus solely on medicine within a collaborative support network of boarded specialists, technicians/VTS's, and a local operations management team.
- Foster relationships with referring primary care veterinarians through a robust CE program.
- Lead with integrity in all interactions with pDVMs, clients and associates.
Requirements
- Boarded Veterinarian - Criticalist or residency-trained in emergency and critical care.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania.
- Passing scores on the North American Board of Veterinary Specialties (NABVS) examination for Critical Care or equivalent certification.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
