Chelsea Animal Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys a surgery-focused role, with a strong emphasis on soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

Position Overview

What You'll Do

• Perform soft tissue surgical procedures and dental treatments
• Manage surgical cases from pre-operative evaluation through recovery
• Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans and outcomes
• Maintain high standards of surgical protocols, anesthesia monitoring, and patient safety
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Eligible for or currently holds Michigan veterinary license
• Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment

Preferred Experience

• Active veterinary license in Michigan or eligibility for licensure
• Strong interest and confidence in surgery and dentistry
• Experience performing soft tissue surgical procedures and dental treatments
• Commitment to practicing high-quality medicine
• Strong teamwork and client communication skills
