About the role

Pampered Paws Animal Hospital is a compassionate and progressive small animal practice seeking an exceptional DVM committed to high-quality medicine. We are looking for a collaborative DVM supported by licensed technicians and a well-trained staff.

Responsibilities

• Offer 30-minute office visits with a focus on client education.
• Do not perform declawing, ear cropping, tail docking, or convenience euthanasia.
• Provide IV catheterization with fluids on a pump, ECG, NIBP, pulse oximetry, esophageal stethoscope on an amplifier, and comprehensive pain medication for all spay, neuter, dental, and surgical patients.
• Practice medicine consistent with what is taught in vet school.

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Mississippi.
• Experience in small animal medicine preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with clients and staff.
• Interest in progressive and compassionate veterinary care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
• Completion of an internship or residency program preferred but not required.
• Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
