About the role

Parkway Veterinary Hospital was established in 1986. Located near the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and the natural strands along Delaware Bay, the Jersey Cape offers a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality medical and surgical care
• Attend continuing education courses to stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary field
• Offer a range of services including in-house blood diagnostics, radiological (x-ray) and ultrasound diagnostics, surgical procedures, acupuncture, chiropractic treatment, cold laser therapy, dental cleanings and extractions, cancer diagnosis and treatment

Requirements

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited college or successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
• License in good standing to practice in the state of New Jersey
• The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and clients
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and educating clients
• Experience and comfort with anesthesia and surgery, orthopedic experience a plus

• 3+ years experience in a small animal practice preferred but will consider motivated recent graduates

Benefits

• Base salary of $120,000-$150,000 (dependent on experience)
• Production-based bonuses
