About the role
Oconomowoc Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal and exotics practice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, team-oriented environment
- Serve the Greater Milwaukee area since 1981
- Deliver Fear Free veterinary care
- Maintain a positive culture and sustainable caseload
- Use modern facilities including digital radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, and six exam rooms
- Provide services in small animal and exotic medicine
- Offer preventive care and wellness services
- Perform general surgery, veterinary dentistry, and diagnostic imaging
- Communicate effectively with clients and educate them about their pets' health
- Make clinical decisions based on best practices
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective care
- Show compassion and care for patients
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Wisconsin veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Interest in general practice; all experience levels encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications
