About the role

Driftwood Animal Hospital, a family-owned clinic since 1962, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice, now in its second generation of ownership, is expanding with a new, larger facility set to open later this year.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats
• Perform routine and advanced surgeries and dentals
• Collaborate with a fun, driven, and dedicated team
• Build long-lasting relationships with clients who value quality care

Requirements

• Current Florida license or ability to obtain one within six months
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for veterinary medicine

Qualifications

• Graduated from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
• Passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and their families

Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
