About the role

SAHO Animal Hospital is growing and seeks an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team in Owasso, Oklahoma. Ideal candidates enjoy a varied caseload and have an interest in urgent care or ICU medicine.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a 12-DVM team to enhance care
• Work in a 20,000 sq/ft state-of-the-art facility
• Treat a diverse caseload including wellness, urgent care, ICU, surgery, and exotics
• Utilize advanced equipment such as ultrasound, endoscopy, digital dental x-ray, CO2 laser, cold laser, and in-house IDEXX lab
• Support a dedicated pharmacy and strong support staff
• Manage ICU responsibilities and inpatient cases
• Provide urgent care and emergency-style medicine
• Work in a busy, high-volume environment

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma
• Experience in urgent care or ICU medicine preferred
• Interest in non-traditional schedules, including weekends and/or swing shifts
• Flexibility to incorporate personal needs and preferences

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
