About the role

The Sr Project Manager at Henderson is responsible for overseeing and coordinating high-profile and complex projects/programs. They manage project planning, execution, and client experience, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial expectations. The position involves leading project teams, managing sub-consultants, and improving project performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project planning, execution, and client experience.
  • Develop project proposals, contracts, and budgets, and delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and sub-consultants.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
  • Manage client service and project communication.
  • Lead efforts to improve project performance and adhere to quality standards.
  • Select, manage, and maintain relationships with project sub-consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • 14 years of relevant experience, including 10 years of project management experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management standards and execution.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of building design and construction principles.
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • PE license preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Prioritizes collaboration, communication, and organization skills.
