About the role
The Sr Project Manager at Henderson is responsible for overseeing and coordinating high-profile and complex projects/programs. They manage project planning, execution, and client experience, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial expectations. The position involves leading project teams, managing sub-consultants, and improving project performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project planning, execution, and client experience.
- Develop project proposals, contracts, and budgets, and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and sub-consultants.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
- Manage client service and project communication.
- Lead efforts to improve project performance and adhere to quality standards.
- Select, manage, and maintain relationships with project sub-consultants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
- 14 years of relevant experience, including 10 years of project management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in project management standards and execution.
- Advanced knowledge and application of building design and construction principles.
- Project management certification preferred.
- PE license preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Prioritizes collaboration, communication, and organization skills.
