About the role
The Vendor Business Manager (IBM-SW) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization will lead the IBM Software Data & Automation portfolio. This role is responsible for defining the portfolio's growth strategy, enabling the partner ecosystem, generating demand, and connecting IBM's technology capabilities with customers' business needs to convert pipeline into measurable, profitable results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the portfolio business plan in alignment with TD SYNNEX CCA and IBM strategic priorities.
- Manage the full portfolio lifecycle, including market analysis, positioning, pricing, forecasting, pipeline development, sales performance, and profitability.
- Recruit, develop, and specialize channel partners while expanding market coverage and identifying new business opportunities.
- Drive demand-generation initiatives through campaigns, events, workshops, webinars, and enablement programs.
- Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, accelerating opportunity conversion and closure.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, presales, IBM, and channel partners to develop compelling customer value propositions.
- Translate capabilities across Data & AI, automation, integration, and observability into relevant business use cases.
- Develop enablement plans for channel partners and commercial teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators and present business results, risks, and corrective action plans to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IBM on programs, incentives, product launches, and commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in product management, product marketing, channel management, business development, or B2B technology sales.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for vendor communication and technical or commercial documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise software; experience in Data & AI, automation, integration, or platform solutions is preferred.
- Experience working with technology vendors and channel or distribution ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of distribution models, demand generation, and pipeline management.
- Availability to participate in meetings with partners, vendors, and customers, as well as commercial events.
