Vascular Sonographer - PRN

About the role

The Vascular Sonographer performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assess blood vessels and related conditions. This role emphasizes patient care, technical expertise, and teamwork to support diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Ensure accurate image quality and recognize abnormalities
• Collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain proficiency in diagnostic imaging

Requirements

• Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours or on-the-job training with a registered preceptor
• Certification/Registration through ARDMS, CCI, ARRT, or eligible with a 6-month registration window
• Proficiency in producing diagnostic images and understanding safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks
