Vascular Sonographer PRN

About the Role

As a Vascular Sonographer, you will perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures, recognizing sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow. You will adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform, perform measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol, and analyze sonographic findings throughout the examination to provide sufficient data for physician diagnosis.

You will initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination and according to established laboratory policy and procedure. You will also notify appropriate personnel when procedural findings are significant or patient condition is of concern.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing Program
• Registered Vascular Sonographer
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
