Vascular Sonographer - PRN

About the role

The Vascular Sonographer performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assess blood vessels and related conditions, ensuring accurate results and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment and acquire diagnostic images
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Maintain safety protocols
• Collaborate to provide optimal patient care and adjust procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Sonography program or on-the-job training with registered preceptor
• ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT certification/registry eligible
• BLS certification
• State licensure if required

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in producing diagnostic images, recognizing abnormalities, operating equipment safely, and following protocols
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and twisting
