Vascular Sonographer Lead - Full-Time

About the role

This position involves coordinating the functions of the Vascular Ultrasound Department, performing advanced vascular ultrasound exams, and supervising technologists and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Vascular Ultrasound Department
• Assist with accreditation processes
• Ensure quality and accuracy of studies according to industry standards
• Maintain effective communication with clinical teams
• Maintain reports and records
• Act as a technical leader and mentor to staff
• Ensure equipment functionality
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain credentials

Requirements

• 4-5 years of vascular ultrasound experience
• Relevant certification (RVT or RVS)
• Proficiency in carotid, venous, arterial duplex, PVR, mesenteric duplex, and fistula assessments
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Technical expertise to oversee departmental functions and support staff development
• Commitment to upholding patient care excellence
