Job Summary
Performs complex diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Provides quality care and assists others in performing the examinations; oversees day-to-day operations; and communicates weekly with the clinical leaders to maintain compliance with standard operation procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or two years equivalent experience is required.
- Registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification is required.
- Must also obtain certification from an approved organization.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
